for this site is to provide information for students in courses that I teach, and to

At the right is a photo of yours truly - in case you see me walking down the hall. This was taken in September 2001 when I was on a ride in the Cascades on Cycle Oregon. We are approaching the top of a 4,000 foot climb. I love cycling in the mountains - the more climbing the better. I ride a lot.
